Arfen Business Visit to Uzbekistan: Continuing to Act as a Solution Partner for Growing Projects

As part of Arfen’s business visit to Uzbekistan in April, CIS Export Regional Representative Nuriddin Ocheldiev and Sales Manager Engin Yiğit visited Tashkent to review important completed and ongoing projects on site.

Uzbekistan, one of the fastest-developing countries in Central Asia, has become one of the region’s most dynamic construction markets in recent years, driven by large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure investments. Ongoing projects across the country significantly contribute to the development of modern urbanization and transportation infrastructure.

During the visit, site inspections were carried out at key projects where Arfen products are used, including Tashkent City Mall, Piramit Tower, and the Grand Road Project. In these projects, Arfen developed parking expansion joint profiles and bearing joint profiles for road and bridge applications, which have been successfully implemented.

In addition to site visits, meetings were held with local and Turkish contracting companies operating in Uzbekistan to discuss business development opportunities. The needs of ongoing and planned projects were evaluated, and Arfen’s engineering solutions and product groups were reviewed in detail for their potential contribution to these developments.

The discussions particularly focused on planned hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, new ministry buildings, stadiums, road projects, and industrial facilities in the country. Within this scope, Arfen Hospital Wall Protection Systems, Arfen Expansion Joint Profiles, Arfen Hydroflex insulation products, Arfen bridge bearing systems, Arfen aluminum profiles, Arfen glass base and façade systems, Arfen aluminum mat systems, and Arfen slab joint products were evaluated as potential solutions for these projects.

Detailed information was also shared regarding product durability, long service life performance, and suitability for different climatic conditions.

As Uzbekistan’s reconstruction and modernization process continues rapidly, Arfen continues to contribute to regional investments with its innovative products and engineering solutions.
