Mat Expansion Joint ETA approval is the third certificate in our ETA certification pathway. Arfen's ‘Nosing Expansion Joints for Bridges’ was the first product group that successfully passed all tests and received the ETA Certifications in March 2021. We are proud that Arfen's ‘Nosing Expansion Joints for Bridges’ is the first expansion joint of its type to be awarded the European Technical Assessment. In August 2024, Arfen's ‘Cantilever Expansion Joints for Road Bridges’ also successfully received the ETA Certifications after being subjected to extensive laboratory tests.
